How it works

One company, one number, one week.

A regular texts in a change.

It knows her weekly mow and prices the extra from your rates. You approved the reply with one Y.

Northside Lawn
  1. Can you do a fall cleanup when you mow Thursday?
  2. Sure. Leaves and beds on top of your weekly mow is $180, Thursday morning. Want a reminder Wednesday night?
  3. Yes pleaseDelivered

It flags you when someone needs you.

What it can handle, it handles. The rest comes to you.

Roger
  1. Dana is also asking about a new patio out back. That's a bigger job, so it's yours. Draft: "I can come take a look Tuesday at 4. Does that work?" Y to send.
  2. YDelivered

Your crew texts the same number.

Like a teammate. Each person's role decides what it will do for them, so only you change prices.

Roger
  1. Text the Kims we're 30 min late
  2. Sent to the Kims: "Running about 30 minutes late today. See you soon."
  3. Mulch should be $65 a yard now
  4. Prices are the owner's call. I've sent it to them for a Y.

Your regulars join your text list.

They join with a word, a link or a QR code on your yard signs. A deposit is paid from a link in the thread.

Northside Lawn
  1. Northside: Snow season is coming. Plowing is $450 for the season, and $100 holds your spot. Reply to reserve. STOP to opt out
  2. Count me in
  3. Saved for you. The $100 deposit holds it: buy.stripe.com/3cs8kd2Lp

You stay in charge.

You decide what it does on its own.

Replies, deposits and sends to your list wait for your OK until you let them go.

It remembers every customer.

Her yard, her gate, her schedule. The next reply already knows.

DanaCustomer since 2021
  1. Weekly mow, Thursdays.
  2. Side gate. Dog in the yard.
  3. Added a fall cleanup, $180.
  4. Asked about a patio.

Take over any conversation.

Text it the change and the draft comes back rewritten. Or open the thread on the web and write it yourself.

Roger
  1. The Kims ask if you can come before 9. Draft: "Our first stop is at 9. Does 9:30 work?" Y to send.
  2. Change that to we'll start with them at 8
  3. Rewritten: "We can start with you at 8 on Thursday." Y to send.

Questions

Who is actually texting my customers?

You are, as much as you want to be. You choose which kinds of messages go out on their own and which wait for your OK, and you can step into any conversation.

Can my staff use it?

Yes. They text the same number, like a teammate: reach a customer, check on an order or a job, flag a problem. You decide what each person can do.

What is the text list?

Customers join by texting a word to your number, tapping a link or scanning a QR code. You send them news, specials and reminders, and they can reply to order. Anyone can leave by texting STOP.

Do I have to give up my phone number?

No. You get a new local number and your existing line is never touched. Put the new number on your signs, your Google listing and your Instagram as the one to text. Take it down in a minute if you want out.

Will it work for my kind of business?

It's built for businesses whose customers come back: weekly orders, regular visits, seasonal work. If your customers text you now, or would if they could, it fits. It quotes from your rates when the price depends on the job.

Will it work with my calendar and payments?

Bookings go on your Google Calendar, and deposits are paid from a link in the thread. It takes orders in the conversation; a full checkout isn't built yet.

What if it gets something wrong?

Anything you've set to wait for your OK reaches you first. Text a correction in your own words and it rewrites it. When a customer needs you personally, it tells you.

Does it answer calls?

No. It's text only, on purpose: we want texting to be as good as it can be first. Your regular number still rings you.

Where is it available?

The United States, for now. The number is a US local number and the carrier rules it follows are US rules.

When can I start?

Not yet; it is being built now. Leave your number and we will text you the day it is live. Setup happens in that same thread, so there is nothing to sign up for twice.

What will it cost?

Pricing isn't set yet. You'll see it before anything is charged, and the early-access list hears it first.

Give your lawn and snow customers a number to text. We'll text you the day it's live.
